Acrylic on Steel

Steel represents beauty, imperfection and aging. I paint in the abstract, on
rusted steel, outdoors. I explore the medium by sanding and rusting sheets
of steel in search of new and different textures. I then apply multiple
layers of paint, glossy or opaque finishes. In the aging of the metals and
it's imperfections, I see a mirror of the human condition.
