Hungarian born artist Shari Brush is a distinguished painter, glass blower and educator. In 1980 she originated these beautiful works that she has called ‘contemporary tapestries’. Oriental handmade papers, gold and silver leaf, collaged onto Belgian linen. Inks, crayon and colored pencil have a role at times. The completed wall hangings suspended on brass rods are dream-like and mystical.
